Introduction to Post 16

Post 16 at Stone Hill is proud to provide an education that enables young people to develop and reach their full potential. All learners will continue their education and progress and develop their personal skills, ultimately leading to employment. All curriculum areas will provide our young people with the knowledge, understanding, confidence and transferable skills to make informed choices about their future learning and career.

Our quality, enriched curriculum that develops the young person holistically, provides quality experiences that are tailored to meet learners individual needs.

Learners will have the opportunity to apply their life skills through experiencing a range of targeted work placements related to their interests and abilities. Our aspiration is for all young people after Post 16, to be employability ready by moving onto a traineeship, apprenticeship, into employment or onto a specific career training/education programme.

During their time at Stone Hill Post 16, all young people will have developed their life, travel and personal skills maximising their full potential to be able to live a safe, independent lifestyle that meets their individual needs.
